About mhzesent
a multi-genre artist. she has experimented with music before 2004, but officially marks start of her activity in 2004 (when she first started writing lyrics). in 2005 she made first instrumental demos and released her first songs in 2006. first started releasing on netlabels in 2009. the 'mhzesent' project started in january 2013 and quickly became her 'main project'. she's mostly known for instrumental/experimental hip-hop, noise, hauntological plunderphonics/ambient, lo-bit, drone, abstract/experimental, and conceptual releases. in 2022 she has disappeared from the internet to take care of her private life, mental and physical health, and to distance herself from some of the decisions and actions she has made over the years. came back in september 2025 to formally come out as transgender and apologize for those actions, and release a couple singles, dj mixes and archival releases. as of april 2026, she's announcing inactivity again, citing her 'comeback' and some of her recent interactions with the 'online experimental music community' as 'negatively affecting her well-being' and 'potentially burdensome to others'. she has collaborated with a huge amount of musicians, vocalists and rappers from all walks of life. she released music on a ton of netlabels and a number of self-publishing accounts, and has owned (and co-owned and co-administrated) a number of netlabels. she's released under hundreds of monikers, most of them being one-offs, and some of them recurring every once in a while; and also made a number of anonymous, uncredited and 'incognito' releases, as well as a number of non-music (text/visual/data) releases. a huge chunk of her releases are now unavailable due to varying reasons (some of which have been archived by third parties - which she does not support or approve of supporting - but some of them being kept private to herself, and yet still some of them have been lost to time, disk-rot and web-rot), but some are still hiding in various obscure corners of the internet. in april 2026 she has briefly re-published a few deleted releases but then ceased any further plans of doing that upon announcing inactivity.
