Josh Paddock (aka TURTL3) started making music with wave sampling in 2003 on a computer while living in Valdez Alaska. Josh shortly after started going to Alaska Job Corps Center in Palmer Alaska, where he first got a chance to use audio editing software such as Fruity loops and Pro tools. Josh took computer repair classes for a year and a half. Meow Mix Music was created as a way for Josh / Turtle to express himself musically. Its mostly a part time hobby for Josh and he keeps it as a hobby so he does not get burnt out trying to come up with ideas for new songs. Josh feels its better for Music to be created without pressure of a dead line. "It keeps the music real." Josh got nicknamed Turtle in high school. Lucky number 13 got added for forum and online aliases, shortened to Turtlenumber13 when lucky13 was taken on an email site that Josh signed up for.
