Felix Mackenzie is an Asian, Mexican American Lo-fi artist from Seattle Washington, uploading music since he was 13. FM is known for his unique genre bending style of Post-punk, Alternative Indie, Shoegaze, Bossa Nova, Fuzz Pop, Noise Rock, Math Rock, Bedroom pop and Ambient styles. Mackenzie Has noted in a youtube interview "The way i'd describe my music to someone would be GrainGarage." Mackenzie released "Debut" album on YouTube Jul 31, 2020, then later officially released the remaster on his band camp, still yet to appear on major streaming services. Debut Actually began with the single "Milwaukee" released on Jun 11, 2020. Most of the Album sound revolves around the same mixing and instruments. "Milwaukee is a messy, yet endearing burst of teenage energy and serves as a great taste of what is to come from his upcoming release." There has been many delays, fake releases and teases on when Mackenzie will put music to Spotify, now becoming an ongoing niche gag within fans. Idle Valley, a musical artist Felix met while living in Arkansas, Released an Album under His band "Celerity Pizza Party" This Lofi indie Album Features Felix on the track "THE SLEDGE" this being Felix's First Appearance on Spotify, aswell as a collaboration with another Underground Band. Mackenzie has expressed his loved for Mac Demarco, saying it was his foundation into Writing music. Slowly as he grew out of the Indie phase, Felix expressed his love for Underground bands such as The Furnsss, Alex Calder and Duster. With the rising revival Post punk scene from Windmill Brixton and SpeedyWunderground, Felix has found his all time love for Black midi, Squid, Shame, Black Country New road and Fontaines Dc. Mackenzie has released 2 small unofficial projects during the Covid-19 Pademic. Fans Predict the Next Album will be heavily inspired by Lingua Ignotas "SINNER GET READY" and Cocteau twins "The Moon and the Melodies."
