Emvelope Nine is Alan Daly, a Birmingham-born electronic music producer. His music consists of found sounds heavily processed using various methods of DSP, mixed in with electronic and acoustic instruments, creating pulses and drones not a million miles away from the likes of Tim Hecker, Philip Jeck and Vladislav Delay. In 2007 he founded Split Femur Recordings, the label that released his well received first full length album 'Melt Canal'.
