About elphi
Elphi is an Irish-English singer, songwriter and DJ based in London. During the COVID-19 lockdown in early 2020, she intensively began honing her DJ-ing techniques and songwriting, two skills she had dabbled in previously. After signing with Hyperpop Records, she released her debut EP, You're Pretty & I Love You / Sunburst, in July 2020. After a few droplet singles, she released her debut mixtape, Chains, in January 2022. In 2025, under her new label, Common Knowledge, she released her sophomore EP, put elphi on. Imbued with ethereality, her fairy-like electronic music touches on love, friendship and loss. Elphi pushes herself to make "challenging pop music," borrowing the saccharine nature of hyperpop and mixing it together with the grittiness of EDM, drawing inspiration from SOPHIE, Yaeji and The Prodigy, to name a few.
