About eSentric

Ever since eSentric was young he wanted to make music. When he was young, he received a toy drum from his parents and he loved to play the drum all the time. The rhythm stuck with him for the rest of his life... When eSentric was in middle school, he played the drums in the school band. But he moved to a different school and left his drums behind. Until this time, his music taste consisted of alternative and the only hip hop CD's he owned were ones that were "hot" at the time. eSentric's world changed when his cousin lent him and his brother a copy of Eminem's 2004 album Encore. Listening to this album, eSentric became a fan of the hip hop and rap world and slowly began to explore hip hop. While searching, eSentric stumbled across artists and groups such as Royce Da 5'9", A Tribe Called Quest, and Big L. His world in music began to change even more when he met two friends in high school who opened his ears to a great deal more hip hop. From there, he stemmed and began finding several hip hop artists that inspired him to want to create his own music. His biggest inspiration came from J Dilla. A few years later, eSentric bought an MPC 2500 and started crafting his own beats, using inspiration from producers such as J Dilla, 9th Wonder, 14KT, Ayatollah and more. eSentric is an aspiring hip hop producer who someday wishes to be upon the list of great underground producers.
