DONNER & MOSCATELLO is the Electro project by Martin Donner and Giovanni Moscatello, two DJs and producers living in Berlin. Giovanni started working in a record store at the age of 13. Since 1995, he has been working the turntables as a DJ for electronic music. In 2004 his first release with a feature of Sex in Dallas singer Adrien Walter was released on Data Error Records. As a drummer and percussionist Donner came in touch with many styles of music. Aside from that he always loved synthetic sounds, from the early experiments to the up-to-date stuff. At the beginning of his DJ Career in the mid-nineties he played Soul, Funk and Disco (the roots of dance music) before he worked as sound engineer and started to produce electronic stuff. Check out his remixes for Console ("Suck and Run", Jetset Rmx; DCC6), Massive Töne ("Im Club", Electro Rmx), Duplex Inc. ("Nifty Night", DJ Don Rmx; DCC1). - The idea of working together came up when, meeting each other at a DJ gig and sharing a drunk night, they came along perfectly well, both on a personal and a musical level. DONNER & MOSCATELLO present modern electronic dance music, always putting the power and will for party first. Style is key. Due to their versatile musical interests and their feeling for the audience, both artists are disposed to excessive parties and musical surprises.
