About dj Ryann

Contact: djryann@live.com Since his childhood he was influenced by rock music (listened by his older brother). At the age of 12 years he received his first gift: a stereo equipment, in Christmas time. Since then, he spent hours and hours listening music from different styles and genres. Bands like Kraftwerk, Ultravox, Depeche Mode, Naked Eyes, OMD, A Flock of Seagulls, Nitzer Ebb, And One, Anything Box, and musicians like Jean Michel Jarre, Brian Eno, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Isao Tomita, Sadao Watanabe, Vangelis, Kitaro, Giorgio Moroder, etc, influenced the young Ryann for the rest of his life. After finishing high school, he enrolled in an institute of advertising design. Upon completion of his studies, he worked in various companies until 2000, when he discovered the music creation programs, and dj Ryann was finally born. One of his greatest disappointments was the questionable quality of the music played in the local radio and television. So taking the computer as a main weapon, he used it to create music that never would hear on the radio. This led him to experiment with the sounds they heard as a teenager. So he made a demo in 2002 called "Sounds of the Machine" which few copies were distributed among relatives and friends. Even today it is considered a very rare and hard disc to get, even for him. The inspiration continued and in 2003 he produced a mixed record of experimental music called "Age of technology" where you can see the influence of bands like Kraftwerk, Safriduo and the Group of Italo-Peruvians "Atahualpa." In 2006, the sound became minimalist and "Oopart" was born - synthetic sounds and latin drumms. Two years more to finish "Austral": Techno and Latin percussion.
