About ctrl f jesus

If you're looking for a band off the beaten path, you've found it. ctrl f jesus is a band that defines genre. Whether they're leaving on a tape recorder in the bathtub while playing an accordian or sampling other songs to bring themselves a warped sense of artistic satisfaction, they do it with style. Each ctrl f jesus song leaves you with an aftertaste similar to mystery meat. "What is this? I mean, is it chicken? Pork? What is that sauce they used on top, it's sort of orangeish brown. I can't even tell if I liked it, I guess I'll have another bite." Hardkore Dance Beatz 4 Hardkore Dance Feetz is by far the most tame album, focusing on dancable tracks more than audibly trying to kiss their elbows. Some tracks, like "Moogy's Op," are so heavily sampled that it's hard to tell the difference between genius and insanity. Take a chance with this album, but beware, for many ctrl f jesus is an acquired taste. ctrl f jesus isn't a band most people would sit around and talk about at a dinner party. ctrl f jesus isn't even a band most people can sit around and talk about anywhere because there's very few words that can describe their sound. Arrays of backwards samples seamlessly overlapping creepy humming and unintelligible speaking is the closest summarization of "Chipolte Burrito No Esta In La Casa." This album is my personal favorite of ctrl f jesus's early releases*. Included in this album is a excellent remix of "Monster ****" done with several accordions and noise gates. Turning on any song on this album is like stepping into a train station at rush hour on acid. You hear a lot of noises, most of which you can't really make out, but somehow they all come together to form something you want to hear again. *The first few ctrl f jesus albums all contained tracks that were under 1:30. As their sound moved away from noise arrays, their song length increased. These short song albums are referred to as their early releases. ctrl f jesus's new album, Daddy's Vagina, is not one to miss. Starting right off with "Airplane" samples, each track moves with it's own individual grace. Chinese Sky Candy is one example of the artists's excellent work in glitch cut ups, and is much better produced than most anything else that they has ever been put out. Overall the tracks on this album are reverting back to their one minute predecessors, but have doubled and trippled in quality. One final note on this album concerns the track Backyard Booty Love, which samples the mario theme overlapping "Arch0wl's OP", a FEEL U CAT hit.
