Melodic Hard Rock band from Joliet, Illinois formed in 1982 by John Davidson and Dave Lepacik for a talent show at Troy Jr. High School in Shorewood Illinois, Brinx eventually became a well known Midwestern regional band headquartered in the suburbs of Chicago. Winning several local competitions and televised cable contests, Brinx went on to record many singles and a full length album completed in 1989. The release entitled "Rain on the City" is recognized as a collectors item in the AOR (Album Oriented Rock) format releases of the 1980's and has been distributed globally finding fans in many countries. The Brinx members had not yet reached the age of 21 by the time of the Rain On The City release and went on to perform in several popular bands including Chicago's Nikki Foxx & Arizona's 500 Hats. LePacik would later move to Phoenix, AZ and drum for Smokescreen.
