Sam Mckinlay's (The Rita) project created to do the soundtrack for the extras on the Barrier Kult Horde Video from 2004, which is a British Columbia skate collective that he's a founding member. As his project became more focused, the name was changed to BT. HN. to stop any confusion between the skate horde and his personal project.
