About at waugh with gieles

At Waugh with Gieles was a sound artist from Perth, Western Australia. In mid 2006, he recorded the May Echoes from Ballard EP which would later become the first release on record label Farmer Frontier. This first recording was somewhat a demo: with 9 tracks clocking at ~16.5 minutes, the songs spanned from melodic post-rock to field recordings and bizarre sound pieces. During 2007, a second release was compiled from three longer pieces for the Brothers release, Cautious Movements. These recordings were far different in nature, tone and composition from the debut release. "3 tracks of slow-burning guitar drone. Tense shimmering waves of tonal layerings and feedback squall slowly build and retreat with a harkening to such comparitive predecessors as Thela or early Fushitsusha. Occassional bursts of other oblique fragments of instrumentation build upon a solid core of late night meanderings." [Brothers] Over the course of his lifespan, At Waugh with Gieles played with the likes of the Chris Corsano, Grey Daturas, Sabot, ii and others. He really enjoyed it.
