About Zorv
Starting from about November 2009 in which Ragyl (Bass) and Danishwara (guitar) who lived in the same boarding house in an area in Surabaya, similar taste in music let them to start a band is influenced from the sounds of bands and late 80s early 90s such as Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Sonic Youth, Bush, etc.. Then they met a drummerDwi same from one campus to fill the position in the band. Then they met also with Joe to fill the vocalist position. Without lingering struggling band rendition of the already famous,they start to make some songs and demo itself until later named their project with the name ”Zorv” in early 2010 with the concept of flow Rock / Post-Grunge. After playing inseveral times at the gig around at Surabaya, Dwi out of the band for some reason. Then they continue to run longer to appear at the gig and record some demos of new materialwith the help of some additional drummer is Dody (Percy Button), Gannery (Mother Is MyHero), and Ucha (Goodfather). Early 2011, Joe was busy with his job for resigning from the band. Danishwara then finally fill the position of guitarist / vocalist as well as in manyZorv gig later. Had a long walk with a formation that is not solid, Zorv finally found apermanent drummer named Balqi. In mid-2011, Zorv finally decided to consolidate their current solid formation is Danishwara (guitar / vocals), Ragyl (Bass), and Balqi (Drum) for the then record the new records latest concept formation and re-enliven the music world for Indonesia . so here’s Zorv, people! enjoy!
