About Zebedy
Zebedy play a mix of melodies, rock and metal (with a progressive edge). It's music and it's LOUD! Biography Zebedy having started off as a live jamming band in 2008, the trio of Jonny H-S, David H-S and Tom, progressed into a tight unit, assaulting the senses with their unique mix of instrumental prog/rock. They have continued to evolve, having summoned up the courage to force notes out of their mouths using actual words. Zebedy are now a 4 piece band from the Conwy area, they combine the metal and indie elements perfectly, with the raw catchy melodies of indie music and the huge riffs of the metal world. They are Jonny on guitar and vocals, David on bass and vocals, Tom on drums and Ben on guitar and vocals, all combining to make a wall of sound, but in a good way. This is the result. This is Zebedy. PRESS: 'Zebedy‘s sound is like a mixture of Cancer Bats with the melodic voice of old school Hawthorne Heights, before crashing into a wall built by DevilDriver. With each song providing exciting outbursts of blastings beats with melodic and moving lyrics, you’re sure to be kept on your toes.' - Dead Press! 'Zebedy are one of North Wales' best kept secrets, building a solid reputation as one of the area's slickest acts. Zebedy deliver a hard hitting, melodic brand of rock which is hard to ignore.....(they) are a band very much on the way to making their mark on the wider rock circuit' - PlanetMosh 'An assault on your senses visually and musically from their first song.....Zebedy are surely the most exciting band to come out of North Wales in an age. If Biffy Clyro were Welsh they would be Zebedy.....and grateful.' - The Core 'with a sound just on the musical side of “Heavy Rock”, it was like surfing a tube, except rather than water all around it was sound, awesome performance, will look forward to seeing these guys again.' - academyimages.co.uk 'Their brand of melodic metal/rock with a progressive sound is nothing short of superb' - North Wales Metal 'buckets of enthusiasm and obvious talent' - Planetmosh.com 'Certainly not music to calm the soul, Zebedy's Exist is not growling, thrashing heap of noise either. With their sterling musicanship, diverse song structure, and meticulously excuted sound, Zebedy are a band at home on the ipod, but really worth experiencing live.' - Pioneer 'Zebedy you're a class act who are going to go a long way' - Watfor Entertainment 'Zebedy are one of North Wales’s best kept secrets' - Planetmosh.com 'this band are exceedingly tight. It’s hard to believe, that a record label hasn’t yet scooped up this raucous bunch of rockers for their nest.' - Deadpress.co.uk
