About Yoyoyo Acapulco

Norwegian indie pop band. Started in June 2006 by singer/songwriter and Ukulele player Arrne Martin Barlund with changing line-ups. Since 2012 and the the recordings of the 11 track album "YYY ACA" (BB*Island, 2013) Yoyoyo Acapulco is the duo of : - Anja Hellstrand (ex Lillemor): vocals, bass - Arne Martin: vocals, ukulele, guita, footdrums, synthesizers The previous band line-up, most active through the previous album recordings and tours have been: - Ola Bruvik (ex The Rascals, Steamboat): drums - Anja Hellstrand (ex Lillemor): bass - Karen Torstensen: casio & percussion - Arne Martin: ukulele & vocals. Yoyoyo Acapulco have released one limited 7" EP in 500 copies in August 2007, plus one limited split-7"-single with Nomber 5s in 300 copies on white vinyl, released 3. May 2008. Furthermore their Debut Album 2010, entitled "The Pleumeleuc Experience", 2011 a cassette release "The War Against Either/Or (Lovers In Love)" available since 2012 as digital release, 2011 a 6 track EP for their merch only entitled "The Drummer Is) The Centerpiece Of The Exhibition" (featuring 2 covers: "You Made Me Realise" by My Bloody Valentine and Kate Perrry's "I Kissed a Girl". 2013 "YYY ACA"
