About Young and Sexy
Young and Sexy is an indie rock band from Vancouver, BC. Friends and former lovers, Paul Pittman and Lucy Brain, formed the band in 1998 as something casual and fun, but quickly began making a name for themselves in the local music scene. Since then, the band has released three albums on Vancouver-based Mint Records. Joined by drummer Ron Teardrop, keyboardist Ted Bois and bassist Andre Lagace, Young and Sexy released Stand Up For Your Mother in 2002 and Life Through One Speaker in 2003. A line-up change in 2004 saw the departure of Ron Teardrop and Ted Bois. Andre made the move to lead guitar while bassist Brent McDonald and drummer Alex Brain were brought on board. With the new line-up in place, Young and Sexy released their third album, Panic When You Find It, in February 2006.
