Youlanda Burnett---- Was born in Ridgely, Tennessee, which had a major impact on the music, she listened to. She grew up listing to Dolly Parton, Crystal Gayle, Porter Wagner, Charlie Pride and many other country stars. She has written over 200 songs, everything from inspirational gospel, r&b, country & hip hop. This singer, songwriter actress, talk show host and soon to be book author has a lot up her sleeve. She wrote and produced her first CD “Starting Over” in 2001. She spent most of 2005 hosting ReelTyme Productions Rock n’ Roll and heavy metal Battle of the Bands throughout the Chicagoland area, that was quite an experience. As well as hosting her local talk show “Talking With Youlanda, which covered a variety of subjects from religion to politics. She also created and produced an open mic show for rappers and singers which she manage to get aired on local TV stations. She just released her first inspirational song “Thank You”, which has hit the ground running. Her second CD “8 Reasons” is due out in fall 2009.
