About Yora

Yora, one of the leading bands of the indie scene in Istanbul, Turkey, was formed in the spring of 2003 and has released two EPs titled “Karsilasma” (2005) and “Bugun” (2008) since. Having started to establish their own mass of audience with their first album “Bugun”, which comprises four songs, Yora has made public appearances at important indie-alternative music scenes, particularly at Peyote and Dogzstar, and at university festivals. Yora has been recently included in the Take Away shows in Istanbul shot by the worldwide known music site “La Blogotheque” and is currently working on the recordings of their new songs besides performing non-stop.
