Yakz, real name David Mitori, is a Los Angeles-based dubstep/bass music producer. Yakz has been making his name hard to ignore. With roots in Metal as a vocalist for several years, Yakz found his place in the underground Dubstep and Riddim scene where his focus on gritty, rhythmic sound design garnered popularity among the local counterculture. After multiple hit releases with SVDDEN DEATH including “Shut ‘Em Down” and “Rock Like This,” and his heavy-hitting EP, “Yaktivate,” Yakz exploded onto the touring circuit with the massive selling “Shut ‘Em Down Tour,” with SVDDEN DEATH and the “Watch & Learn Tour” with Somnium Sound.
