About YSEE
YSEE is a French actress and singer-songwriter, best known as a member of the English rock band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. YSEE, born Audrey Gbaguidi in Draguignan near Marseille in France, worked as a singer, song-writer and actress in France until 2015 when she moved to England to pursue her music career. YSEE's origins are from Benin in West Africa She began her career working alongside musician Tony Allen; she toured with him across the world from 2009 to 2013, and is featured in "Moving On," the opening track of Allen’s album, Film of Life. On October 6, 2015, YSEE provided supporting vocals for Eska during Rick Owens’ Fashion Week exhibition in Paris. Also in October of 2015, she performed a tribute to the Togolese singer, Bella Bellow, as the opening of West African Art's exhibition at the British Library. On June 28 2016, YSEE performed as the opening act for singer Seal at the Olympia in Paris. On June 28 and 29 of 2017, YSEE opened for George Benson at the same venue, and opened at the Olympia again on July 14, 2017, for singer Mary J Blige. Other collaborations include Africa Express, the project of Blur and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn, to bring Western and African musicians together. YSEE is featured on the tracks "Farewell" and "Cowboys or Indians" on The Road: Part 1, the fifth studio album from British band UNKLE, released on 18 August 2017. In 2017, YSEE contributed vocals to Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds tracks "Fort Knox" and "Be Careful What You Wish For," from the band's third studio album Who Built the Moon? and joined Noel Gallagher on his Stranded on the Earth World Tour opening in Detroit on February 9th, 2018.
