About Wychweed
Wychweed are a 3-piece stoner doom band from Cambridge, UK. Their influences include many legendary doom and stoner rock outfits including Sleep, Om, Electric Wizard and Black Sabbath. Phil Freeman - bass/vocals Ben Shone - guitars Ric Sill - drums Longtime residents of the Cambridge metal scene, these boys know how to make a room rattle with gargantuan, sludgy riffs and slow rhythms coupled with ethereal, chanting vocals. The Wychweed EP Is the result of Wychweed's first recording, made in early January 2008 on an industrial estate just outside Cambridge. The EP is currently two tracks long, but will be expanded to four in the next few months.
