There are at least three artists with this name: 1. Winston Smith is f****** good band set up by sir Winston Smith and his friends. They used to play very good music. 2. Winston Smith is an alternative rock band from Omiš, Croatia. The band was formed in late 2009 by a group of young, but experienced musicians (Željko Lipanović on bass guitar, Željko Kuvačić on drums, Ivan Ković on guitar and Frane Rogošić on vocals) who wanted to play covers of punk rock and alternative rock hits just for fun. Soon, another member arrived to the band: Nikola Vulić on trumpet, acoustic guitar and backing vocals. The band rehearsed intensively and soon started playing live on various venues in Croatia. Soon the band started working on its own material, mostly alternative rock and grunge-oriented. Finally, they entered studio in May 2011 in order to record a demo EP with five original songs. The recording sessions ended in July 2011, and the Winston Smith EP was published online in September 2011. Current line-up: Frane Rogošić - vocals Filip Barbarić - guitar Vale Stone - guitar Željko Lipanović - bass guitar, Ivan Nizha Nižetić - drums Nikola Vulić - acoustic guitar, trumpet, backing vocals 3.
