Owen Roy (born February 23, 2007), professionally known as willowind is a singer, songwriter and producer from Connecticut. His musical journey dates back to 2019, when he was gifted a launchpad and Ableton Live Lite for Christmas. He began making and releasing electronic and dubstep music under the name “t3mpe5t”—later stylized as “Tempest”—shortly after in 2020. willowind released his debut album mockingbird on June 6, 2025. Being fully self-produced, like most of his music, and sporting co-production from hostile on one track, mockingbird was the beginning of the classic electronic-infused pop music that willowind is known for.
