WICKED SIDEBURNS The musical environment of the band Wicked Sideburns could be considered pressure music as far as possible and that is exactly what is being put into action. Every listener attending a live concert will be awaiting an exquisit mixture of hardcore and metal merged with a fairly big portion of groove, which is giving the band a unique character and an interesting, clearly recognizable style. Since their foundation, Wicked Sideburns (from a big village called Mettingen, located halfway between Hamburg and Cologne in Germany) also had to move certain rocks blocking the road to the top that are quite common for a young rockband, namely: a change in their line-up. Finally a constellation has been found. We are talking about the symbiosis of Bastian Leeker, the lead-singer, as well as Lothar Bitz, the drummer. Additionaly, there is the guitar player Stephan Baune and bass player Sebastian Vaske. Wicked Sideburns are anything but novices. This is testified by the bands extensive stage experience including support shows for well-known acts such as Machine Head, Walls of Jericho,Kreator, Hatesphere, Ektomorf,Waterdown, Alternative Allstars, Donots, Beatsteaks, Crosscut or Fidget. Concerning attributes such as their stage show, sound and interaction with the audience, Wicked Sideburns do not have to hide behind those bands.
