About What's Missing
In the fall of 2013, What’s Missing formed in Morgantown, West Virginia's tight-knit and stylistically diverse music scene as a four-piece, generally, pop-punk outfit. Since then, the group as undergone a few lineup changes and taken new direction musically. The current roster has accomplished more since 2016 than the previous three years combined. With a rekindled sense of purpose and better vision than it has hitherto known, the group is primed to deliver their best work to date in 2018. The debut EP, Under, was released in late 2015. After a standalone single released in July of 2016, the band dropped their newest record Shortly Thereafter in February of 2017, and followed it with several performances around West Virginia and surrounding states. Shortly Thereafter marks a step in a new direction for the band. It's a project brought to life with the help of Mat Kerekes (of Citizen), and Brian Spragg (a friend and previous producer for Rozwell Kid). The band has shared the stage with artists such as Capsize, Broadside, Hotel Books, Shai Hulud, and more, and has appeared in a variety of publications like Idobi Radio and The Alternative.
