Welcome to Concrete is a rock band formed in Los Angeles, CA, United States in 2009. Welcome to Concrete (W->C for short) is a Los Angeles-based rock band with punk, grunge and metal influences. Active since 2009, W->C has been rocking the L.A. club scene selling out shows and opening for the likes of Dokken, Great White, Y&T, The Tubes, L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat. A self-titled E.P. was released in April 2010 along with their first music video for 'Love Spells Disaster’. Second Guess, their second E.P. was released in April 2011 along with a video for 'Or Another’. ‘Or Another’ was also recognized with a Hollywood Music Award at the HMMA’s in 2010. Beck Carroll leads the band, her voice melding haunted melodies and roaring choruses; Scott Dolgin lays the backbone with his melodic bass lines and solid grooves; Jeff Gilbert's technically aesthetic guitar riffing rises to screaming solos and crunchy licks; and James Decker pounds ancient tribal rhythms with a punk rock mentality. Together they give an explosive live performance not to be missed.
