The sub-unit debuted on August 17, 2021 with the single "Low Low". Following WayV-KUN&XIAOJUN, the unit is the second official sub-unit of WayV, as well as the second official sub-unit within a sub-unit of NCT and, in extension, any other SM Entertainment artist. Unlike the previous sub-unit, WayV-TEN&YANGYANG's debut single is completely sung in English.
