About War/System
War/System was formed in Feb 07 by Pat (voc), Dave (guitar) and Al (drums), they were joined in March by Jon (bass) and are based in Worcester. Featuring ex members of Terrorain, Burnside, H8 Target and Impact, they have many years of experience. Their first proper gig was in Bristol July 1st at a sold out gig with 80’s punk legends Subhumans, after this many successful gigs and a well received CD single. In late Oct 07 they parted company with Al and recruited powerful and dynamic drummer Liam to take the next step. Feb 08 a Us 7” single and an appearance at the Burrito Fest in Brandon Florida and several other show in Florida. After returning from the states and more gigs they parted company with Liam as he was in two bands and this was getting in the way. Enter the powerhouse drumming of Sean who firmed up the rhythm section and created and solid base. Sean’s first gig was supporting Sweden’s Driller Killer and they showed that our sound had matured and debuted a handful of new songs. After a short UK tour with Murder Suicide Pact to further show the their strength in depths they entered the studio for a split with Dutch Metal Punks Decent To Hell on UK label Angry Scene Records.
