About WEZN
"Wezn" (pronounced "wé-sn") are Paul Richter and Maischa Perdelwitz. Two „Wesen“, who met in Bremen between student nights and rehearsal sessions, where they discovered their passion for electronic music. Two years later they began to write first songs and to play concerts in Germany.The duo mixes synthesizer sounds with acoustic drums, creates unique harmonies with looped vocals, which leads into their own world of sound. Unusually, they play everything live, without backing tracks or any trickery, which makes each concert different. Between minimalism and extremes, improvisation and catchy melodies; Wezn finds its place between role models like James Blake and Massive Attack. Since the summer of 2018 they have been working on their EP, which will be released in February 2019 under the publisher Fuego.
