Vic Olive formerly known as Basti is an RnB singer/songwriter from Summer Homes, Marikina City. In making music, Vic is heavily inspired by Daniel Caesar and Frank Ocean, but in his release "For a While" featuring D.Vaughn, you can hear the pop influence that he got from his main inspiration, Justin Bieber. Vic Olive has expressed that he wants to stray away from the RnB genre for a while to test out his capabilities in other genres as a singer and songwriter. Recently he sent us a song with Timy Dior that has elements of DnB, Hyperpop and a hint of glitchcore to balance the noise. Vic Olive has shown great potential and open-mindedness in making music and we have no doubt that as he grows as a person, his music will grow with him.
