The model-come-singer now 25 years old was born in Portugal and lives in Sunny Sydney where she has captured an overwhelming response from fans. To many she is known as a model and still is one of the most recognised models in Australian motorsports events, however those who know her know that she has been long pursuing her lifelong passion to become a recording artist. In mid 2007 she collaborated with QBizzi & Mc Tuppz, a lyrically gifted rapper from South Auckland New Zealand and together they wrote, produced and released their unsigned track "Lose Control" through myspace.com. “Lose Control” was a hit and captivated the RnB audience of Oz receiving regular play on Australia's number 1 Rnb station The Edge 96.1fm which also landed her a special guest interview on DJ “Nino Brown’s” Trail blazing show. She has also been consistently ranked a TOP 100 Australian Artist on Myspace music. In just a few years Vera Fernandes has become one of the most exciting young females in the urban music industry and now the aspiring star has liaised with one of Australia’s music producing powerhouse The Sound Academy where she recorded and co-wrote her new single "All about You" with Audius & Leon. Audius is the ARIA Award winning producer of Delta Goodrem's No. 1 hit - 'Born To Try' and Jessica Mauboy's "Been Waiting" to name a few.. "All about you" speaks for itself. Her dynamic vocal range and incredible likeness to the pioneering pop stars of today are a true testament to her and its just the beginning.
