About Van Huskins
Michael and Eric have played with each other (ewwww) for years in bands such as The Crusties and Los Accidentes. Ben has pounded the skins (kinda ewww) for the side and Down for the Count, among others. Ben and Eric are brothers who always wanted to start a band called Van Huskins (a play on the band, Van Halen, for all you young whippersnappers and non-rock n' rollers) but could never get it together because of, uh, alcohol and other fun stuff. Around the beginning of 2014, Eric started penning his masterpiece, "Motherfucker Motherfucker" and it was on. Ben was coerced into playing first and then together we lured, with promises of candy and cigarettes, Mike into the fold. With new recordings by our old pal J Arse on the way and tens of fans, Van Huskins is here to eat your children! Van Huskins are a dumber Ramones, a less manly Misfits, a fatter Pipe, and a redneckier Stiff Little Fingers. - Derick Buskins
