Border Patrol

About Border Patrol

Border Patrol's history goes back to the middle of 2005. Then, they were known as the 9-piece ska band Made in Canada. The line-up of Made in Canada was Ryan Wright on vocals, Jair Roque on guitar, Jeff Williams on bass, Bill Grant on drums, Ben Dennis on trumpet, Sarah Candito on tenor sax, Ryan Heslip on alto sax, and Josh Fenn and Eric Stants on trombone. After going through their second line-up change consisting of Wright on vocals, Fenn on bass, Grant on drums, Heslip on sax, and Stants on trombone and new recruit Chris Pressley on guitar, then band thought they were good to go. The band delt with much tension but the final outcome of their line-up was Fenn on vocals, Pressley on guitar, Williams on bass, Grant on drums, and new bandmates Brandon Wright on trombone, and Kyce Soerries on sax. Then a major plot twist in the works, Brandon Wright was caught in the middle of two bands, and went on the path of the dark side. Border Patrol was left without a Trombonist, so they turned to an old friends brother. By the grace of the gods it was Ronnie Heslip to join up and fight in the BP army. So the newest lineup is Josh Fenn - Lead Vocals/Trombone Chris Pressley - Guitar Jeff Williams - Bass Guitar William James Grant III - Drums Kyce Soerries - Sexaphone/Backup Vocals Ronnie Heslip - Trombone/Backup Vocals The band came to a close in July of 2007 when the band members decided to pursue other projects. You can check out Josh and William's latest project here on last.fm http://www.last.fm/music/Good+Weather+For+Airstrikes Their name is Good Weather for Airstrikes, a Howell-based indie rock band.
