About Uberfuzz

"If you dig Spacemen 3, BJM, MC5, and the Velvet Underground, you are going to go apeshit for Uberfuzz, who combines blues, fuzzed out guitars, and trippy lyrics. The band is from Rugby, (the same home as the Spacemen 3 and are on Pete Bassman’s label Acid Ray." - 'Mystery & Misery' article, Dec 2005... "This is a band who bring back songs from another dimension altogether, as much a collection of alchemists as musicians, turning melodies and experimental effects into pure gold for your poverty stricken mind." - 'The Daydream Generation', May 2008... "Psychedelic Gods to a man." - 'The Broken Shackle Tabernacle' Nov 2007... "Uberfuzz-Drowning in Honey: Ah yes if there was an entry for music for the dream machine this album would be the on the top of that category. The LP opens by putting you into a hypnotic state of mind, as the LP progresses it treats you with a visual experience at the cross roads, you then realize what road the writer takes with the lush vocal harmonies and heart touching instrumentation." - 'Psychedelic Velveeta', Nov 2008... ...UBERFUZZ combine a heady and eclectic mix of different music styles from the post-modern era. From Delta Blues, via psychedelia and traditional R&B, electronic diversions and country duet stylings, they combine 6 & 12-string guitars, Moog and other analogue synths, slide guitars, live and electronic drums, sitars, ethnic percussive instruments with varying other pulses of sound. Although a large amount of the UBERFUZZ back catalogue is to be found here, you will notice there are no cover-versions. If you would like to know how to get hold of the full collection of recordings then simply give them a 'shout'.
