About Turntable Science
Turntable Science represents the first Romanian all DJ crew and it brings together 4 of the most appreciated turntablists the country has to offer: DJ Dox, DJ Undoo, DJ FaiboX, DJ Paul. The band was formed in 2004, over a barbeque and a turntable session, at DJ Undoo's house. Since 2004, Turntable Science has managed to enrich their CV with performances from around the country ( Bucuresti, Constanta, Timisoara, Brasov, Vama Veche.) and even beyond our border, in Viena, at the festival called ”Sampling Bucuresti la Viena”. At the TMBase Workshop in 2004 they were the only hip-hop representatives that played at the festival. In April 2005, they were invited again to play at the TMBASE Festival, this time opening for DJ Vadim. In B-52, the club, Turntable Science performed together with B.A.U. (Brigada Artistica Urbana) in a very unique show: turntables Vs. live instruments! They also warmed up the show for big names like: Wu-Tang Killa Beez, on the 15th of February 2006; Promoe/Looptroop, on the 4th of November 2006; DJ Rafik; DJ Koala, and most recently, Grand Wizzard Theodore. Presently, the band has just released their debut album, the first turntablism album in Romania, called : “Extended Techniques” Vol. 01 and also a video for the song “DJs Cut 4 U” feat. Jay and Kioru, that can be watched on the bands official website, as on tv, rapidly gaining ground all over in Romania.
