TRUIE, since its creation in 2007 in Bayonne (64), in the southwest of France, has been considered the best band in the world, perfectly combining talent, charisma, and sex appeal. At least, that's what Éric Dorléans and Kaan Turkdamar, respectively guitarist/producer and vocalist/bassist, believe. The duo offers a refined blend of death/grind tinged with black metal, sullied by some of the deepest guttural vocals muttering lyrics in French, all topped off with funny, explicit, and raunchy samples taken from adult films. For these two seducers, these samples are the perfect accompaniment to the serenades they compose, further enhanced by the development of various atmospheres for which they set no limits: sometimes orchestral, sometimes electronic, but always serving musicality and Love. The project was originally born in Éric's twisted mind in the 2000s. Even back then, he enjoyed playing with his instrument and composing tracks that were both technical and brutal, inviting friends to come and sing along. The tracks were then shared on Myspace, where the project began to gain modest recognition: the TRUIE concept was born. The music from that era would later be remastered and compiled in an album simply titled *Bukkake*, released in 2017. Among the invited singers was the young and still innocent Kaan, with whom the creative orgasm was particularly intense. So intense, in fact, that he initiated TRUIE’s rebirth a decade later. The concept was revived, this time in a more serious and exclusive form, but still as raunchy and brutal. The two companions took great pleasure in exploiting the creative chemistry that united them, which would be evident throughout the *Gokkun* EP released in 2019, followed by the single *Téquila et Filles de Joie* in 2020. In April 2023, the release of *Ménophilie* undoubtedly marked the true first step of a long, vicious, and creative collaboration for TRUIE, which is only waiting to blossom further.
