About Triste sin richard
Biography as of 11/20/05: Presently Chris is studying music at CalArts in Valencia, so the band is somewhat out of operation. We recorded the bulk of an album the last weekend of August, and it will be finished up and released winter break. We will also play some shows this Winter break. Biography as of 4/30/05: The band abruptly metamorphosed into a string and percussion septet, adding street vigilante/expert cellist Ben Sudduth and electro-wiz/percussionist Ephraim Nagler. Also Brian Kinkaid emerged from behind the scenes co-composer to onstage bassist/guitarist. Shows will be played soon, now that the journey from larva to pupa is complete. The accomplishment list is long and weighty, so we will be working hard to fill your ears with stimulating sensations. Biography as of 1/26/05: We have existed for but a few months, so our biography is brief. Chris needed to give his prospective school of choice, the California Institute of the Arts, a portfolio of music, so he recruited three high school girls and a wandering Moor to play with him on some compositions he had been working on. However, he found them all to be both skilled at their instruments and quite amiable human beings, so the collective five set their sights on writing a list of prospective accomplishments. This list included playing Richard's (the Moor) and Brian Kincaid's (a norse goat herder) compositions, for both individuals had assisted the writing of music for Chris's portfolio and proved to be well-trained in the language of notes. However, during the writing of the list, Richard decided that he wanted to keep up his wandering streak and head towards Santa Cruz. The group decided to look for a drummer and play with Richard whenever he wandered into them. Now the dynamic quintet is going to start playing gigs in Santa Rosa, hoping to complete items on its list of accomplishments until a new list needs to be drafted.
