About Trio Erik Marchand

A trio consisting of the famous Breton sonneur (singer) Eric Marchand (voc), World Music artist Thierry Robin (Oud) and Hameed Khan (Tabla). The group recorded only a single album, An Tri Breur (the three brothers), which features Breton traditional chants and gwerzioù accompanied by oriental instruments such as the Arabic lute Oud and Indian Tablas. The group pioneered a new generation of Breton world music.
