About Trigger Jack & The Machine Guns
Comprised of three young men from Queens, Trigger Jack & The Machine Guns aim to bring you tunes by the people, for the people. Friends since grade school, Victor Starsky (vocals, guitar) and Paolo Chioni (bass) have been chasing Rock & Roll dreams since day one. Through adolescence band names formed and were forgotten, while trendy genres were experimented with. Victor, while fronting progressive-metalcore band Single File to Bliss, met Brandon Portelli (drums) and they began to jam. After Single File had come to an end, Brandon and Victor knew they wanted to begin their own project. A Chinese fire drill of members and instrumentation had begun, until they accepted that the small band had already organically formed itself. The three friends quickly began writing catchy hard-rock tracks that showcased their own influence, talents, and conflicts. Through their evolution TJMG has sprinkled elements of blues-rock, stoner-rock, garage-rock, and progressive into their cauldron. Their raw, interactive stage presence and banter has made them a crowd favorite on the bar circuit. With their first EP "A Quiet Place" set for release on 4.1.14 the members are ready to show the world what a ragtag group of 90’s kids from Queens are capable of.
