The Trevor Childs Band have been stalwarts in the Bay Area rock n’ roll scene for over 10 years and have played everywhere from strip-mall dives to the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Their legendary live shows combine the direct, real rock n’ roll storytelling of All-American classic rock (think early Cheap Trick & Warren Zevon & Ian Hunter) with the ragged guitar glory of Faces, Crazy Horse and Van Halen. On record, however, the band carefully crafts arrangements with new wave and prog rock touches while polishing a panoramic, widescreen sheen of California nouveau arena rock. Their latest album “Spirit Guide” was recorded over 3 years in garages, rehearsal spaces and recording studios and is tailor made for a high volume, windows-down drive along the coast.
