About TranceSx

Kevin Bogdanov is also known as TranceSx, a Bulgarian Born Australian, with a production background dating to early 2002. Having come to Australia in 1992, early influence was found from tracks such as Legend B - Lost in Love, Veracocha - Carte Blanche, William Orbit - Adagio for Strings, and countless others. This was a period of trance development away from house and punk to more melodic, progressive trance, simultaneously progressing with the hard underground dance scene in the UK and Germany, from where Gabber and Hardcore emerged. The production element first kicked off in early 2002, with sample editing and mixing with applications such as the EJ series, Fruity Loops, and many others. This progressed to use of Reason, Acid, and the mastering also became more sophisticated. The under riding theme was commercial progressive trance that defies the norm, but still reeks of trance influence. By early 2004, using platforms such as mp3.com and music.download.com, the TranceSx label hit the top 10 in the Dance and Trance charts. Now TranceSx's music can be streamed from global sites all over Europe, Asia, the Americas and Asia Pacific. TranceSx has also remixed edits from legendary artists Toby Emerson and Dedmau, where full recognition is given to their original work. Many comments have outlined a spherical element backed by sound trance progression. The music has featured along side artists as diverse as Blank and Jones, Paul Van Dyk, Lord of Bass, and other extensive radio edits from some of the genre's best. But perhaps the single most noted point of difference is the ability to derive emotion and rhythm without over-utilizing commercial and common samples. The music has a distinctly unique edge. Featured in TranceSx's last.fm album are two of the premiere tracks, downloaded hundreds of thousands of times, MLE Tribute, and Infinity, epitomising the capability.
