About Tractor Pulling People
What can happen in three years? If you are a band named Tractor Pulling People you can form at a local party and go from three strangers to a solid crew. Your bass player can suffer from a tropical African disease which eventually kills him. You can decide to go on to celebrate his memory, find a new bass player, who then leaves you for the excitement of snowboarding in the alps just to come back as a guitarist half a year later. By then, of course, you’ve already found a new bass player (the third) but then the guitarist (former bassist) leaves due to lack of motivation. After the first turbulent three years Tractor Pulling People (former Captain Mono, former Tinfoil Pilots) ought to hope that their seventh line-up is the definite one ‘cause they sound better than ever. Guitarist extra ordinaire Daniel Rundberg has added a new dimension with his knowledge and routine. Multi instrumentalist Anders Sundell limits are still to be found as he keeps pushing his performance while trying to widen the listeners horizons. Drum virtuoso and producer Anton Kolbe swings his sticks like the old jazz legends used to, and turns the songs of singer/guitarist Martin Johansson, whose vocal chords are made of gold, into musical muffins. Pretentious? Maybe in their own minds. The music is earthbound though, yet with a twist and sincere expression. However this is not a symphony orchestra. Tractor Pulling People are just four individuals searching for synergy, trying to make the song that makes your heart skip a beat and loosen the knot that has grown bigger in your chest.
