About Trío Calaveras

Trío Calaveras are a Mexican vocal trio accompanied on acoustic guitar, singing Ranchera, Bolero and Traditional Mexican Folk. Originally founded in Mexico in 1931 and have been performing through the years with various line-ups changes. Their are notable for their performances and recordings with pop singer Jorge Negrete. Their name means "Skulls Trio"; in Mexico "calavera" also means a cool Casanova. The original members of the trio were Raúl Prado, Miguel Bermejo and Pepe Saldivar. Today the members are: José de la Cruz Pacheco, José Luis García Rosales and Luis Miranda Neri
