About Top-Display!
Top-Display! is Russia-based rock band from Saint Petersburg, formed in 2008 . They are performing in such genres as «rock»,«new-wave». Between 2007 and 2008 vocalist of Оригами Max Kamenschikov (Макс Каменщиков) announced that he is leaving the band. Reasons of his leave are still unknown. He immediately began to search some new collective to help him with sharing beauty and drive of Rock music. The first was guitarist Nik (Ник), which used to play before in PlunkTone and The Poems. Then they found a bass guitarist - Pasha (Паша) (previous bassist of Border Cross). So there was only drummer left. There was a lot of attempts but all of them ended with a big fiasco. And then they finally found Danya (Даня). After a few minutes of him performing, they band knew that he's the one whom they were looking for all that time. After long time of considering they finally decided to name their band as Top-Display! (which stands for a "show-off") and after that they started to prepare. In winter 2008 Danya left the band and was replaced by Sergey Ogarkov (Сергей Огарков). In winter 2009 Nik has also left the band and was replaced by Sasha Danilov (Саша Данилов). And they in January 2010 Sergey leaves the band and is immediately replaced by Nikita Gribanov (Никита Грибанов).
