Formed in mid 2011 and heavily influenced by a shared interest in all things dance/pop/electronic/Macbook Pro, Tokyo Denmark Sweden are rising fast from newcomers to dance floor favourites. Having attracted blogger love both at home and overseas and airplay on Triple J and community tastemakers FBi, Triple R and 4ZZZ, Tokyo Denmark Sweden are primed for a big 2012. The Sydney party-starting upstarts are currently preparing the release of their debut single ‘Little Quarters’, a delectable mash of ethereal strings, throbbing bass lines and dance floor beats. Tokyo Denmark Sweden plan to follow this up with an EP later in the year. These releases and their punchy live sets should confirm a place for TDS amongst Australia’s most exciting up and coming bands.
