To The Fountain formed in York, England, in 1987. The band were Simon Pirie-Drums, -Dave Clements-Bass, John Watson-Guitar, Mike Beever-Keyboards and Alex Halliday-Vocals and Guitar. They recorded one album in 1988 The Horse Wont Lie Down on Heron Records.
