Another of Timbaland's 'well good' Collaborations, this time with a band a little out of his comfort zone. Timbaland - or Tim Mosley to friends and family - is famous for his Crunk happy Collaborations and his ongoing skill at producing hit after decent hit with a number of huge hip-hop names, such as: Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake, Jay Z, Keri Hilson, The Pussycat Dolls, Lloyd Banks and Bobby Valentino to name a few. The Hives, a swedish band most famous for their pop/rock hits 'Hate to say I told you so''Two timing touch and Broken Bones', and 'Walk Idiot Walk', produce sound music with catchy verses, respectable riffs and are nearly always seen wearing matching outfits. The song 'Throw it on me', is a perfect blend of the top aspects of both artists: Catchy riff, strong crunk background, repetitive chorus and some proper nice rapping in the verses. Nice Work from both of them.
