About Tigerline

Tigerline’s dedication to music is best demonstrated in their approach to rehearsal: 8 hours solid without air, food or water (aside from a lunch break). Tired of one-dimensional riff-mongers and ‘70s throwbacks, the trio sought to develop a new sound, a sonic template the likes of which had never been heard before. Unfortunately, the place they call home is also the country’s most barren musical wasteland: the Cotswolds. After a fruitless search for a singer (and a few misguided attempts at vocals themselves), the band finally accepted the cards that fate had dealt them and Tigerline was born. Fusing soaring melodies, furious riffing and the loudest drumming this side of Oxford, Tigerline prove that instrumental rock need not be pretentious or inaccessible, but it must be both endlessly listenable and uncompromisingly noisy in order to meet the band's, as well as their audience's, nuanced compositional demands.
