About Thus Far
Thus Far is simply the joining of forces between two songwriters, Alex Howard and Kara DuBose, who had already found their own artistic voices. Two individuals with different stories whose musical and creative dreams aligned to create music that is vivid, unique, and powerful. Formed in 2008, Thus Far began as the brainchild of Alex Howard and Logan Watts, then two students at Abilene Christian University. After playing together locally for many months, they recorded Thus Far’s debut release Bright Light in Nashville, Tennessee. At their CD release concert fellow songsmith Kara DuBose joined in on vocals, and the musical chemistry was immediately evident. After graduating from college, Alex and Kara decided to continue pursuing their musical dreams, and moved to Austin, Texas, the live-music capital of the world. In Austin they hope to find a city where they can leave their mark, and continue making music and art for years to come.
