About Through The Wake
Through The Wake is a rock band from Baltimore, Maryland. Made up of familiar faces from Baltimore's music scene, the band was formed by guitarist Joe Horan and his former bandmate, bassist Tony Kroll. Enter drummer Matt Boccia. After working together with Horan for several years, their chemisty was a lock. Matt's groove-oriented drumming well accents the technical writing style that Joe has crafted. That combined with Tony's in-the-pocket approach and the grinding metal energy of guitarist Adam Zenich, has taken the sound of the band to the edge. In front is vocalist Dan Houtz. Dan's well thought lyrics and vocal grit bring the final piece to the puzzle. Through the Wake is coming out swinging and together these five men are bringing something real to break up the white noise of the everyday world. Give them a listen and get lost in the sound.
